I am taking part in the first event Walk for Hope event this October for pregnancy charity Tommy's. I will be raising money to make pregnancy and birth safer, and save babies' lives.
In November 2020 my husband and I suffered a miscarriage a few days after a scan showing a healthy strong heart beat. I was at work when it happened and was taken in an ambulance to the hospital. This was in the height of covid and we are incredibly grateful for the paramedics, the staff at Bury st Edmunds hospital and Tommy’s for getting us through the darkest times of our lives. We are also grateful for Culford woodland burial for providing a beautiful service and somewhere we can go and visit our little star. We are also incredibly grateful for the small circle of people we trusted with this sensitive experience who were there for us.
I am so incredibly blessed to have such a supportive husband and the two most precious girls (Florence and Nancy). I am not only taking part in this event for us, but for all those other beautiful babies too precious for this earth. I know money is tight but if you please can spare any pennies for this lovely charity that would be amazing 🩷
